Roulette Systems and gambling for fun

I've had many people tell me about their Roulette systems, and how they work. I also have the same response to them. You can not get rich playing roulette. The odds are against you, and no system is fool proof. But you have a lot of fun playing roulette, and yes it is possible to win a lot of money in a short period of time.

Gambling over all is fun, and that is the most important thing for people to remember whether playing at a casino or online. It's important to be able to enjoy you gambling experience... Now that may not always be possible if you are on a bad losing streak, but one that happens, you should walk away for some time.

Maybe all you need is a few minute break to relax. Maybe you might need a few hours or a few days to be able to gain a perspective on the game and break you losing streak. No matter what, gambling and roulette should not be looked at as a way to get rich. It should be looked at as a way to kill sometime and have some fun!

So if you decide to gamble today, please keep it within your limits and remember to keep a smile on your face :O)

Germany Webcame Roulette

It looks as if the German land gambling sector is branching out into international gaming in a new Internet venture. The Casino Wiesbaden in Frankfurt is set to offer British online gamblers an Internet roulette experience from Germany: playing live roulette from the comfort of their own homes.

Registered players will be able to place stakes on the roulette table via their computer, keeping track of the result and watching the croupier via 2 webcams.

French casino industry in turmoil over pay dispute

Casino owners and employees in France face a stand-off after unions called the country's croupiers out on strike over an unresolved dispute regarding pay and new regulations which allow casinos to add electronic versions of poker and roulette games.

France's 17,000 casino workers have stated that more profits should be coming to them. After wage negotiations broke down, they went on strike on New Year's Eve - one of the busiest nights of the year. Casino operators are offering a 2% pay rise, but the unions want to see this figure increased to 5%.

The unions are also concerned about proposed changes in French law that will authorise electronic versions of games such as blackjack, and which they fear could result in the loss of up to 3,500 jobs.

The Roulette Wheel - Play Roulette Online

Many questions regarding roulette revolve around the differences between an American roulette wheel and a European roulette wheel. The only difference worthy of note is the fact that an American wheel has two zero pockets, one marked 0 and one marked 00.

The American Roulette Wheel features two zeros (0, 00) in addition to 1 through 36, which totals 38 numbers altogether. In contrast, the European Roulette Wheel features only one zero (0), which means that there are 37 numbers in total. This difference represents a significant difference in the house edge between the two types of wheels. On a European roulette wheel the house edge is approx. 2.70% - much lower than the American wheel at 5.26%.
